It analyzes all of the information relating to individuals and/or entities from multiple sources of data, and then applies likelihood and probability scoring to determine which identities are a match and what, if any, non-obvious relationships exist between those identities.

Slightly variability in demographic data for longitudinally correct records.

• Use of a nick name. (“William” used in some records and “Bill” used in others.)

Names and addresses displayed at different points of time in their lives that would include the following variability:

• Name
  • Middle name varies between full middle name, middle initial, and an empty string (blank).
  • First name varies between full name, nick name (if known) or first letter abbreviation.
  • Last name is changed with typographical errors such as might occur on a QWERTY keyboard.
  • Name changes due to marriage.
• Address
  • Some people move one or more time during thier.
  • Thoroughfare designations alternate between abbreviations & being spelling out (e.g. Circle / Cir., Drive / Dr. )
  • Street name is changed with typographical errors such as might occur on a QWERTY keyboard.
