Recent regulations, acts and standards such as Sarbanes Oxley, Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (VISA CISP and others), OATS, FFIEC and Gramm-Leach Bliley, mandate that financial records be secure and accurate.  Using actual taxation or financial records is not only bad practice, but in most cases illegal.

Example Applications

ExactData’s Dynamic Data Generator was used to automate the creation of a financial services telephone call center test scripts and back end data center workflows.  Multi-layered complex test scripts are setup through a GUI to apply contextual rules, statistics, field and group dependencies, and field and group dependencies upon dependencies, etc.  Every test script generated established a new context for subsequent, and previous, processing in a test script set.   Tables of data with constraints, boundaries, generation rule (sequential, random) of data on column basis and reference databases (libraries) for use were create for automatic data pull.

The test scripts are then automatically created on demand along with the matching SQL data files for testing the backend systems workflow rule requirements. These testing scripts can then be used to either verify call center quality or used to train a call center on new procedures or business rules.
